Bob has been playing bass since 1966 when his older brother wouldn't let him play guitar. Bob has been influenced by bassists such as Jim Fielding of Blood Sweat and Tears, James Jamison of Motown, Noel Redding, Stanley Clarke, and Charlie Mingus.

Bob has played in rockbands, wedding bands, and even an ethnic band. After extensive experience playing all types of music in and around Connecticut, he moved north of Boston. After taking time off to raise a family, he is now back in music.

Before joining 3rd Movement he had played recently with The Electric Blues Band and East Coast Jam.
